• econsult has now been replaced with PATCHS, this is an easy and fast way to get in touch with your GP

• We will no longer accept prescription requests via phone from 1^st Nov 2021. Prescription can be ordered online or by coming into the surgery. The housebound and vulnerable patient coded on the system can use the dedicated phone line for order as before. Blister pack patients can order prescriptions via pharmacy.

• Mere Lane Group Practice is seeing patients, as usual, we offer a telephone triage, Patchs, and video consultation followed by a face-to-face appointment if required.  If you need same-day telephone consultation or video consultation, please ring the surgery in the morning at 8:00 am. You may experience an extended wait time in the morning due to the heavy demand for appointments. We may be unable to provide same-day telephone consultation if you call in the afternoon or evening. A doctor will ring you back that same day and if required you may be asked to attend the practice for a face-to-face appointment.
